Awards Season is here! Golden Globes 2016

My fave❤️
Mrs. Tatum glow on the red carpet with these navy blue embelished gown. Love the deep V and the pockets.
Jenna Dewan in Zuhair Murad

The red carpet Queen
Happy to see JLo in something different from the revealing gowns she usually wears. Horrible on the model, amazing in JLo. Love the Yellow!
Jennifer López in Giambattista Valli

Ok but not WOW...
These three were red carpet ready but missing the wow factor. So happy for Cookie's Globe.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior, Taraji P. Henson in Stella Mcartney and Amy Adams in Atelier Versace

Fashion Forward ladies➡️
Definitely a statement on the red carpet Jamie with the geometric pattern and Cate with the fringe gown. Ones will love others will hate.
Jamie Alexander in Genny and Cate Blanchett in Givenchy

Black is the new Orange⚫️
Piper and Crazy Eyes left the orange suit at Litchfield Penitentiary and glitz in black at the red carpet of the Globes.
Taylor Schilling in Thakoon and Uzo Aduba in Talbot Runhof

The epitome of elegance✳️
White is definitely Laverne's fave for the red carpet and she nailed it again.
Laverne Cox in Elizabeth Kennedy

Blue Fever
Love the color but not the dresses.
Kate Winslet in Ralph Lauren, Bryce Dallas Howard in Jenny Packham and Julianne Moore in Tom Ford

Same age!!!
I love Helen Mirren, she's always on point and age appropriate, but Gaga looks too old for her age and is also possessed by Marilyn Monroe spirit.
Helen Mirren in Harry Winston jewels and Lady Gaga in Atelier Versace

Floral disaster
I love flowers but these dresses are not making justice to the beauty of flowers.
Maggie Gyllenhaal in Marc Jacobs, Eva Longoria in George Hobeika and Rachel McAdams in Lanvin

Hate Mode
Amazing body Kate but you can show it in a classier way. Katy you look like a 60's character and Rooney you look like you had a shredder encounter.
Kate Hudson in Michael Kors, Katy Perry in Prada and Rooney Mara in Alexander McQueen

50 Shades of Red @ the Emmys

Last Sunday the red took the leading role at the 66th Annual Emmy Awards, held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.  Among the celebrities that choose the intense color were January Jones, Kaley Cuoco, Claire Danes, Giuliana Rancic, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Uzo Aduba, Christina Hendricks, Minnie Driver and Mindy Kaling. Although its not my favorite color for that type of event because it blends with the red carpet, some of the ladies like Julia, Uzo, January and Giuliana pull it together.

Scarlet Ladies

My Faves
The hit of the night for me was model Camila Alves, she looks flawless in Zuhair Murad; while Gwen Stefani looks rocker chic in her Versace number.  In the other hand, only Julia Roberts can make a short dress work for the Emmys and she did it in a beaded Elie Saab.  Hayden Pannetiere looks amazing with her growing baby bump and Halle looks ageless in her Elie Saab gown.

What they were thinking?
I have no words to describe Lena Dunham´s style, she looks like a joke!  Giambattista Valli definitely choose the wrong mannequin.  While Christina Hendricks Marchesa silky gown seem to be very cheap and dated; but most of all is unflattering to her voluptuous figure.

Orange Is the New Glam!

Last Sunday, the Litchfield Correctional moved to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.  The Orange Is the New Black cast arrive in Glam to the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.  The Netflix series debuts in the Emmys with 12 nominations for its first season, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

Among the other nominations were Laverne Cox (Sophia Bursett), Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes) and Natasha Lyonne (Nicky Nichols) for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series; Taylor Schilling (Piper Chapman) for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Kate Mulgrew (Galina “Red” Reznikov) for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.  The only winner was Uzo Aduba.

Some of the “inmates” hit the red carpet with style while others commit felony.  Take a look to the styles that set the girls apart from their manly orange jumpsuit while performing their characters on the Netflix series.  Designers like Christian Siriano, Zuhair Murad and Gustavo Cadile dressed some of the ladies for the big night.

Mendel definitely stand out and shine.

The Good, the Bad and the WTF!

The Brooklyn's Barclays Center in New York City, for the first time ever, held the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. The good, the bad and the WTF walk down the red carpet on the Brooklyn streets and also got on stage at the Barclays. I absolutely love the style of my "Good Girls" Selena, Ciara and Naya; while I hate the lack of taste of the "Bad Girls" Miley, Snooki and Lil' Kim.  The WTF was definitely Miley Cyrus (aka. Hannah Montana gone wild) who was trying too hard to erase her Disney image.  Her performance was disgusting, ridiculous and left everybody thinking WTF!
